U.S. Marines assigned to Combined Anti-Armor Team, Weapons Company 1st battalion 3rd Marine Regiment practice utilizing BGM-71 TOW and FGM-148 Javelin missile systems during Lava Viper 17.1, at Range 13 aboard Pohakuloa Training Area, on the big island of Hawaii, Oct. 22, 2016. Lava Viper is an annual combined arms training exercise that integrates ground elements such as infantry and logistics, with indirect fire from artillery units as well as air support from aviation elements.
