U.S. Marine Corps Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC) call in close air support aircraft during a training exercise at Chocolate Mountain Aerial Gunnery Range, CA on September 22, 2017. The training was part of Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course 1-18 (WTI). WTI is a seven week training event hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, AZ. Some basic info about JTAC:
