ST. JEROME, QUEBEC (CBC/CNN) - A Canadian court unveiled video Tuesday of a dramatic prison escape in 2013.
The clip shows two inmates at a detention center in Quebec make their escape dangling by a rope from a helicopter.*
Prosecutors revealed the clip as part of the trial of one of the escapees - Benjamin Hudon-Barbeau.
He and another inmate were part of an elaborate plot in March 2013.
Two accomplices hijacked the helicopter and forced the pilot to fly to the jail where Hudon-Barbeau and his fellow escapee were waiting.
They clung to the rope while the chopper took off, however, they were recaptured just a few hours later.
A similar incident took place in November 2014 when three inmates used a helicopter to escape from a detention center near Quebec City.
